RoboBye Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

The short version: your contacts never leave your phone, call blocking happens on your device, we show no ads, and we don't sell data. This policy exists to say that in the legally thorough way.

What RoboBye does

RoboBye is a call-blocking app. When you make RoboBye your phone's call-screening app, Android asks RoboBye whether each incoming call should ring through. RoboBye answers using a list of known spam numbers and the rules you set — entirely on your device.

Information stored on your device (and only there)

None of this is transmitted to us. Deleting the app deletes it.

Information we never collect

Information you can choose to send us

If you tap "report spam" on a call, the reported phone number (the caller's, never yours) is added to the community blocklist that protects other RoboBye users. Reports are not linked to your identity.

If you purchase RoboBye+, the purchase is processed by Google Play. We receive confirmation of an active subscription, not your payment details.

Where the spam database comes from

Public Do-Not-Call complaint data published by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, combined with community reports from RoboBye users.

Children

RoboBye is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the current version will always be at robobye.com/privacy.html with an updated date at the top.
